|Description & Services|
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the port of Lunenburg is steeped in history and full of wonderful restaurants, inns, shops and fine establishments where sailors can quench their thirst.
Two days of special events will take place along the waterfront, hosted by the fantastic Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic.
All wooden boats are welcome: sailboats, motorboats, punts, canoes, kayaks, pleasure or commercial craft. We will have space for everything from rowboats to draggers.
All weekend long, boat builders and related trades folk will offer displays and demonstrations.
We will continue to be friendly and accessible to all.
There are many ways to participate – attend the event and admire the boats and craftspeople who build and maintain them, cheer on your favourite boat, enter your boat in one of the many races and parades, display your boat on the wharf, or take part in the entertainment and activities ashore.
