The Active Start Soccer program focuses on developing fundamental movement skills. It provides players with an opportunity to practice their soccer skills, make friends, be healthy and gain life skills. Each session contains skills development, fun activities and mini games.
The Active Start Soccer program for kids currently in Primary, runs for 8 weeks on Tuesday evenings in May and June (rain or shine) on the SRHS field. Registration is $25 and includes a T-shirt. Registration takes place in April.
For children who are 3-5 (not currently in school), there is a Active Start Soccer program that runs in July on Monday and Wednesday nights at the SRHS field. The program is free, however a parent or guardian is required to participate. Registration takes place in June.
