Description & Services

Information The King's Orange Rangers are based out of Liverpool Nova Scotia, but boast a membership that extends across the province. The group is a non-profit organization composed of volunteers who share a desire to preserve and promote Canada's history, specifically from the period of the American Revolution.

We welcome all people interested in 18th century history and pursuing historical reenactment. Although we encourage new members to take up the soldiers life, both men and women, to ensure we maintain our military origins as a Royal Provincial Regimental Company, Captain John Howard's Company, not all of our members portray soldiers.

Other roles within the group include pioneers, trades people, musicians, sutlers (merchants), and camp followers. Camp followers include women and children who assist with various tasks at events.

We are veteran parade performers and our members are expert and well trained in firing their muskets at regular intervals while on the march. A proven crowd pleaser!
