Description & Services

Information Nia is a whole-person wellness approach blending dance, martial arts and healing arts. The music is varied and the moves cover a wide range to stimulate the nervous system in many ways. Choreographed routines include some free dance and are danced barefoot to bring awareness to our movements. Nia is adaptable and open to men and women of all ages and fitness levels!

Your first class is always free. Bring a friend and try it out! Drop-in is $12 and punch cards are available. For more details, visit www.nianow.com/kathleen-naylor. If it’s a holiday Monday, please check first to see if there is a class.

Kathleen has been teaching Nia weekly at the MB Centre for three years! One participant says: “I can count on feeling refreshed and energized after a Nia class with Kathleen. I always appreciate the emphasis on ‘doing what feels right for your body’, along with Kathleen’s joyful and creative teaching style. Nia is a wonderful way to connect to the joy and power of movement!”
Hours Nia Dance – Mondays 5-6 pm in the Dance Studio at the Mahone Bay Centre!
