Information  
In 1996, the South Shore Waldorf School & Kindergarten first opened its doors on an organic family farm in Conquerall Mills, NS. Five years later, the School and Kindergarten moved to a century old school house in Blockhouse, NS, carefully and lovingly renovated by the families and friends of the School. 
 
The School was founded by a handful of families looking for ‘something more’ for their children.  
 
The school offers a:  
- After School Care Program 
- Jr. & Sr. Kindergarten programs (ages 4yrs - 6yrs) 
- Grades 1 through 6 
 
The Waldorf curriculum promotes well-rounded development in children by exposing them to a wide variety of subjects using an interdisciplinary approach that complements the students natural abilities. Waldorf education allows for a meaningful learning process by engaging the whole child. The children develop their thinking and feeling, and a sense of purpose.

Download our Application Form and send it in with the $75.00 Application Fee if you are interested in your child(ren) attending our school. The school does offer a Tuition Assistance program (upon approval), and Volunteer Credit program for those who may require financial assistance.
Eligibility Ages: 3 year(s) and up
Hours Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 3:00pm 
Friday: 8:30am - 1:30pm
